The Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) in Gujarat is progressing rapidly. The Dholera International Airport's Phase 1 is set for completion by March 2026, with a capacity of 1.5 million passengers annually. The first phase of the industrial smart city, covering 22.54 sq km, is nearly complete, with 95% of the work done. Infrastructure projects like the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Dedicated Freight Corridor, and a four-lane expressway to Ahmedabad are underway. Additionally, a 4,400 MW solar park is being developed to power the city.
